The FEE team is specialized in crystal growth and preparing optical elements for LASER applications.

Since 20 years FEE grows crystals for optical applications. The delivery program includes crystals like Nd:YAG, Yb:YAG and Er:YAG as well as nonlinear optical crystals for SHG and THG like BiBO and KNbO₃. FEE is worldwide one of the few producers of high quality TGG. The growth of customer specific crystals with special dopants or modified host lattices, also as substrates for epitaxial growth, is possible.

FEE has a wide expert knowledge in processing and polishing of laser crystals, especially for sensitive materials like TGG or NLO crystals and for thin discs down to lower than 100 µm.

An outstanding feature of FEE is the ability to grow segmented crystals with a patented growth process.
